After starting my training in internal medicine with a focus on pneumology in Bavaria in 2005, I moved to Frankfurt in 2006 to join the Medical Clinic III (Internal Medicine and Cardiology) at the Markus Hospital. In addition to training in intensive care medicine, I also worked in general internal medicine, where I was able to gain further valuable experience in the fields of gastroenterology and haematology/oncology. In the cardiac catheterisation laboratory at St. Markus Hospital, I was trained by leading international cardiologists in invasive cardiology (with a focus on electrophysiology) and participated in or performed numerous interventional procedures. As part of my several years of intensive care training, I was able to acquire an additional qualification in emergency medicine in 2007.

In 2011, I was appointed senior physician and head of the cardiac ultrasound laboratory at the Markus Hospital. As a consultant cardiologist, I provided support to the various departments. At the same time, I worked in the outpatient department of the Cardioangiological Centre Bethanien. I was also involved in the training of residents and clinical research. I believe that continuing education and the integration of the latest research findings are essential to providing the highest level of medical care. In this way, I can ensure that my patients benefit from the latest scientific knowledge and the most modern treatment methods.

In 2022, I joined Kardiocentrum Frankfurt as a cardiologist, with a focus on the Bad Vilbel location. Since then, I have acquired various qualifications, including expertise in pacemaker and ICD therapy and certification in cardiovascular preventive medicine.

One focus of my work is the early detection and prevention of internal medical conditions, with a particular focus on cardiovascular health. In addition, I am currently specializing in nutritional medicine to supplement the treatment of cardiovascular risk factors with targeted dietary measures.

In February 2025, my dear colleague Dr. Konstantinou and I will establish our joint practice: a private practice for cardiology and lipidology. Our many years of working together at the Markus Hospital have shown us the importance of holistic, preventive and patient-centered medicine.
