Additional imaging tests

Additional diagnostic imaging procedures (offered externally)

We can order the following diagnostic procedures, which are carried out by qualified radiologists at a cooperating hospital or diagnostic imaging center.

(coronary calcium CT scan)

Computed tomography for calcium determination

Coronary calcium CT is a computed tomography scan that uses X-rays to visualize calcified plaques or blockages in the coronary arteries of the heart. A high coronary calcium score (CAC) can indicate an increased risk of heart attack.

(Cardiac MRI)

Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Cardiac MRI is an imaging technique that uses strong magnets and radio waves to create detailed images of the heart muscle, heart valves and heart function.

(Coro)

Coronarangiography

Coronary angiography, also known as cardiac catheterization, uses a special dye (contrast agent) and X-rays to assess blood flow in the coronary arteries of the heart. Coronary angiography enables the invasive detection of deposits or blockages in the coronary arteries.

(CCTA)

CT angiography of the heart

Cardiac CT angiography (CCTA) is a computed tomography scan with contrast agent injection to visualize the heart and all blood vessels of the heart. We will discuss the results with you in detail.

(MRA)

Magnetic Resonance Angiography

Magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) is an MRI examination of the blood vessels.
